@djm_ @vividmachine Most important thing is not to use a neon pink or blue version, complete with orthopedic wrist strap... unless your a propellor-handed, attention-seeking, shoeless, sparkling-water-dodger.

@djm_ Since people are asking... here's how I set my JoyCon remote. Key mapping was easy with https://vividmachine.com/controllers/ (although I wish I could export my config, @vividmachine)
@ChrisFerdinandi I like to default the "previous slide" button to "previous build" for easily stepping backwards through complex slides. Then I add a less obvious "previous slide button". Also a movie play/pause for halting a demo video as I talk them through. And one to reset the timer.
@ChrisFerdinandi I recently lapsed from using a Wiimote over to a simple Kensington remote. Mostly because the Wiimote started to feel a bit big in the hand.
But I'm back in Nintendo land now. No USB dongles and loads of button customizations to subtly have greater control.

I lost my presentation remote recently so:
1. I'm an idiot
2. I could consider using a Nintendo Switch JoyCon
3. I could almost justify getting a Switch because of 2
4. I *totally* got a Switch
5. Using a JoyCon as a remote is a JOY!
6. My pun game is both on point and accurate
