@NikkitaFTW @swyx @hswolff Nah, @netlify have soft limits on traffic too. We'd have kept serving and worked something out. (And we were too busy enjoying looking at the site to have cut you off)
But, massive kudos to @zeithq nonetheless. Classy.

RT @DalaiLama: Compassion is of little value if it just remains an idea. It must motivate how we respond to others and be reflected in all…
@crgeary I think that @vuejs with @nuxt_js is a pretty sweet combo, and they are really heating up at the moment.
Also, working with @eleven_ty is a delight.

@simonw Yeah, it's a pain. That's why @Netlify built a Functions workflow. The link below will clone a starter repo containing Lambda functions, link it to a new site, add CI, enable unlimited staging envs...
One click.

This is a fascinating look inside @Netlify at just a bit of the work being done by the Platform team.
Always calm under pressure, but this is taking the piss!

@clarklab @davatron5000 @Netlify You might not be able to compare now to pre-netlify, but since every deploy gets a URL you'll always be able to compare your latest red hot performance tweaks to the way things were at the start of your Netlify journey. ⏱🕰
@jensfranke @stefanjudis @Netlify @SpeedCurve Filed under "examples I want to see and case studies I want to read"

@s10wen @Netlify @github @JosephAllen1234 Yay! I'm glad you like it. Interested in hearing how you get on as you use it more and more.
@reimertz @NorbertDragan @Netlify Yikes! That has been a long road! Glad that you found @netlify and a CMS solution that fits you, in the end. 😬

This is a great tutorial and uses one or two patterns that I find really useful on my own sites. https://twitter.com/tomsansome/status/995973585683537920
@dav_is_dev @ChrisFerdinandi @vincpa @ianfeather Only if you design and build them with robustness in mind. PWAs use a collection of technologies. It's up to you to use them responsibly. Many of them, like SW, were designed as progressive enhancements specifically to allow you to use them with this in mind.
@dav_is_dev @ChrisFerdinandi @vincpa @ianfeather That's a wonderful luxury.
@dav_is_dev @ChrisFerdinandi @vincpa @ianfeather I recommend watching the entire talk when the video is released.

@DavidDarnes Totally! You have all the event hooks, build tiggers, and access to the form data via the submissions API you'd need on @Netlify.
And event-based lamda functions would be perfect to send the email (just name the lambda file "deploy-succeeded.js")

@davatron5000 @OThatSean Alas, we have no affiliate scheme like that... but for every heartwarming message like that one from Sean, you'll earn an official Hawksworth nod of approval™, a hearty handshake/hug depending on your personal space preferences, and all the @Netlify stickers you can eat!
