The archive of what I posted on Twitter, which I now self host due to a lack of trust in Twitter and some other reasons.

I'll soon begin refelcting all my Mastodon posts here too. I'm happier self-hosting or maintaining an archive of my content on URLs that I can own.

There are tools to help you do this too. Such as this one from the makers of Eleventy.

@petervangrieken @VueToronto @brucel This serves as a good reminder. It wasn’t *me* who described @brucel as “the speaker that won’t flush” it was the organizers.

If anything, *I* am the victim here.

@WesleyLHandy @VueToronto Thanks Wesley! That’s very kind. And thanks for such a thoughtful write-up of the conference.

I think we are starting to see more places adopt JAMstack on projects, but agree, not everywhere yet gives an opportunity to use this stack. Here’s hoping that its popularity grows.

RT @css: It's so appealing to have a web-archive of every tweet, that updates as you tweet. https://www.zachleat.com/web/own-my-tweets/

@bencallahan I’m delighted by @Netlify’s efforts there. Our personnel makeup is reported during every monthly all hands meeting, and the result is an environment full of all sorts of wonderful people. We can still do better. But it is a valued and valuable priority.

Things I now realise that I have said on stage in front of ~500 people while MC-ing:

🥴 if you fancy it, treat yourself to a whoop.
🥴 they’re an all round web good egg.
🥴 tatty-bye

I might need to take a good hard look at myself before @VueToronto.

@swyx A big gotcha is that you now have two forks of your site and you must build and maintain content and feature parity or communicate lack of it to users. And as new devices emerge you have to hope that the UA places them on the path you expect.

M dots are tremendously undesirable.

Preparing to board my flight home after another wonderful @jamstackconf in SF.

Excuse the slip of my English "stiff upper lip", but I'm pretty chuffing proud of the event, and overwhelmed by the community and extraordinary team I get to work with each day at @Netlify

Charrrrge!

This is the perfect use case for the new @Netlify Build Plugins.

Automatically analyse the site generated by your build, and do clever font asset optimisations as it gets deployed.
