The archive of what I posted on Twitter, which I now self host due to a lack of trust in Twitter and some other reasons.

I'll soon begin refelcting all my Mastodon posts here too. I'm happier self-hosting or maintaining an archive of my content on URLs that I can own.

There are tools to help you do this too. Such as this one from the makers of Eleventy.

@mjujou @JedWatson @code_barbarian @Netlify Yep. Although it's not a UAT environment, every deploy is to a production environment, and you get a unique URL for each deploy to use as you described.

Here's a short video showing how to set up notifications which share that URL into the PR discussion.

@mDevStix @ShopTalkShow When Netlify runs your build, it sees the Form elements & creates an API for you, complete with data storage and access to get that data programmatically or through the admin interface.

Auth is a little more complex. @biilmann describes it in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_3zYAMkaMf8

This looks excellent. @crgeary shows how @IndigoTreeSays added the SEO insights from Yoast, a popular WP plugin, to their #JAMstack sites with this @NetlifyCMS customisation.

No. I'm not going down that path. I'm a citizen of the world... who happens to think that crumpets are important.

Hmmm... crumpetlify

Dismayed to learn that @phae has been focussing on helping build the product at @Netlify instead of the far more important work of teaching about essential English traditions.

Don't worry Netlifamily, I've got this.

@filmaj @mattsta It's a great model and workflow.... but I prefer not having to manage all of the moving parts that make that process possible.

No disagreement whatsoever on this: push to deploy FTW!

I can't wait to be back in San Francisco soon. This time for @smashingconf where @Netlify will be around to answer questions. If you're attending, let's do lunch!

I'll be running a lunchtime session to dive in to some Netlify features.

@harrycresswell @Netlify @ShopTalkShow Great!
(I double dare you)

And I'm not sure if this might be useful, but I made a little site with a very simple Lambda usecase which includes my workflow as a reference. Might be a good reference for the Functions stuff. Feedback gratefully received.
