The archive of what I posted on Twitter, which I now self host due to a lack of trust in Twitter and some other reasons.

I'll soon begin refelcting all my Mastodon posts here too. I'm happier self-hosting or maintaining an archive of my content on URLs that I can own.

There are tools to help you do this too. Such as this one from the makers of Eleventy.

The beignets from Cafe Du Monde come in threes and a "dusting" of powdered sugar. I struggled through like a hero. https://ift.tt/2Gqb3jm

This 'hello world' example of writing and deploying your first AWS Lambda function with @Netlify Functions by @siwatpru shows just how simple it is to get started.

@iainbeeston @Netlify Once deployed your site 'just works' with no need to maintain or patch your environment over time. That has a bunch of benefits like instant rollbacks and multiple branch builds. Including peace of mind for security, performance and maintenance.

@iainbeeston @Netlify The biggest difference is that @Netlify builds your site and the deploys it statically on the CDN. You don't run a server such as Express, instead the magic happens at build time in our CI.

Honoured to have been part of #renderconf this year. I leave feeling inspired and motivated.

Thanks to @render_conf and everyone involved. And to all who found me to ask questions. Keep 'em coming!
