@bruised_blood I recommend that you RUN (don't walk) to see Isle of Dogs by Wes Anderson. Every single frame belongs in a gallery. Utterly stunning. (And lots of good dogs!)

@MikeRiethmuller So sorry to hear that, Mike.
@AshKyd @Netlify Any suggestions?

@StuCoxMedia @ianfeather BuzzFeed have *millions* of pages, and millions of visitors. Inlining the js would mean that it can't be cached as a common resource and would inflate the weight of every single page request. It would also probably damage the performance too.

@gerrybot @nandortoth @GoHugoIO @github @Netlify @awscloud Lambda can be used to extend what you can do with a static site. When you need something to run server-side like a secret you can't have client-side, it can be handy. @Netlify makes it simple for you by letting you manage lambda functions as part of your codebase.
@vincpa @ianfeather π€
@ianfeather @brucel Like he wasn't going to do that anyway.
@brucel @ianfeather Go bananas!
@Netlify Seriously.

This demo is brilliant!
It's mind boggling to think about the months of effort I went through with some large vendors to get dependable environments and ways to use them (which never achieved this kind of result) https://twitter.com/Netlify/status/992429154619490304

@simonmcmanus He's a handsome prince.
@charis @peakdesignltd Me too! Also deeply in love!
I rather like it in brown. Good in a crowded overhead locker on a plane. Part of me pangs for the sleek, simple, stealth, black version. (One day the 30L version!)
Oh, also noticed that @peakdesignltd & @Netlify are Dogpatch office buddies!

Looking forward to speaking at @Mcr_FRED on May 30th. We'll look at practical examples of:
π What is #JAMstack and how can we use it?
π Modern development workflows with git
π How to add #serverless functions to #static sites.
π Using #headless CMS and content APIs https://twitter.com/Mcr_FRED/status/992316804600074241

@NutPandaDotCom @Netlify @github Yeah! And you could automate things a little too. I played around with making a URL shortener you could use on your own domains with redirects, a form handler, and #serverless functions.

@stefanjudis @contentful Superb!
@drewm These are great. I don't know how you managed that in such low light.
