The archive of what I posted on Twitter, which I now self host due to a lack of trust in Twitter and some other reasons.

I'll soon begin refelcting all my Mastodon posts here too. I'm happier self-hosting or maintaining an archive of my content on URLs that I can own.

There are tools to help you do this too. Such as this one from the makers of Eleventy.

The only reason this lying, harmful, windbag should ever be allowed to appear on any more broadcasts is to give queues of prank callers a chance to fish him in and toy with him like this. https://twitter.com/OFalafel/status/1176557758344093696

@jlengstorf I have that sort of relationship with Past Phil too. Past Phil is an idiot who makes poor travel choices which Present Phil understandably doesn’t appreciate.

Rumour has it the Future Phil is way smarter and more fun to be around. But I’ve yet to meet him to know for sure.

@thatsmyjamstack @Netlify We talked a bit about using #serverless functions as a fallback to render pages on the fly in place of a 404.

A more detailed description of that and an example which uses this for user generated content on a pre-generated JAMstack site is over here 👇

@chadtomkiss @sebdedeyne @fauna I used it a little (and really enjoyed it) on this example site:

The API is nice.

And we recently launched an official @fauna add-on for @Netlify too, which makes the onramp even more straightforward.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: @devdevcharlie of @Atlassian is badass!

Live demo at #JSCampRo of her machine learning webapp to recognise her StreetFighter moves via webcam to control StreetFighter on her computer.

So clever, creative and informative.

@K16EInc @lauragift21 @css No. This is not about that. There is no client-side js required to render these pages.

This is about making sure that a view is returned for requests to a URL even if that page has not yet finished being created by a static site generator. Serverless functions as a fallback.
