The archive of what I posted on Twitter, which I now self host due to a lack of trust in Twitter and some other reasons.

I'll soon begin refelcting all my Mastodon posts here too. I'm happier self-hosting or maintaining an archive of my content on URLs that I can own.

There are tools to help you do this too. Such as this one from the makers of Eleventy.

@raymondcamden @eleven_ty Yeah that is really very nice indeed. I also like being able to stay in JavaScript land for any extensions or customisations. It feels like an approachable way to control things.

In the past I've _hammered_ @netlify's automated builds via deploy hooks.

Good to know that it intelligently and automatically skips intermediate deploys when you queue several up.

A very quick video and a little more detail:

@joshin_my_tots Yes! We've had the microchip reader granting them access while keeping neighbouring cats out for a while.

But today begins the tracking and watching their inside/outside time from afar via an app and profiles for them with their avatars and habits and...

I've said too much.

@sebastienlorber @Netlify Useful one for me to ponder on though.

I like keeping the CI and hosting all together for the sake of the automations, immutability, previews, and strong associations with the git-based workflow.

@sebastienlorber @Netlify Agreed. That price doesn't work for that scenario. I have to confess to not being aware of that sort of duration in a Gatsby build. That's big.

Thanks for this info!

There are some unofficial ways to use intra-build caches which I think *may* become more mainstream before long.

@sebastienlorber Usually a 15min build suggests a hefty site. Most fall well inside that. Removing the limit is available via the Business plan though:

There are also various discussions in the @Netlify Community forums about optimising builds
