@eatlunchUK @ItsHumdingers @AbbeyTheatreStA Nodding with approval at the appropriate use of inverted commas.
....something, something, you've got to be in it to win it.

If you are generating sites with many thousands of pages, you may already know that @goHuguo has incredibly fast pre-rendering speeds.
Here, @regisphilibert describes some crafty additional optimisations to speed things up even more by caching partials.

@joseeight Sounds to me like you should be telling the world that you invented it.
Thanks for the JAMstack, José! 🥳

@KimMaida Sites which are pre-generated, so you get:
- Ability to serve entirely from a CDN
- Simplified DX/deployment/hosting
- Better security since no servers to attack
- An ecosystem of specialist tools/services to use at build/run time via JS & APIs
- Reduced time to market & costs

It takes us longer to recycle our cardboard boxes than we’d like. Hard to say why. https://ift.tt/2LhGmxY

RT @Netlify: If you want to deploy your first @vuejs site, we've written some instructions on how to build it and get it online. It's much…

@shortdiv Wow.

@samnewman @Netlify If you’ve gone to the lengths of rolling your own site with an SSG, you might be willing to also assemble a comments system with the building blocks @Netlify gives you. I made a demo which might be of interest.

@kitos_kirsanov @Netlify @bitwre Yep. The redirect rules a deployed per branch. So they'll work as part of a split test too.

@ChrisFerdinandi @fishandscripts @Jack_Franklin That would be great. We've not had guests yet... but I think we might be doing that before too long. And I'm always keen to wibble with you, Chris!

I got a little bit ranty in this episode of @fishandscripts. But @Jack_Franklin is the calming voice of reason. So it’s not all bad.

@hankchizljaw Sound like you might get something from @shortdiv's talk about auth. She covers a bunch of things, including JWTs which could be what you are looking for.

@alanxcone Things like @GoHugoIO (and other static site generators) help build sites with lots of pages. In that scenario, templating and utilities make the process manageable.
The term JAMstack creates a vocabulary to describe a simple static site, plus all the tools that can power it up.

@sarah_edo @lauragift21 Is this a cocktail or a dessert? Either way, I’m in.

@Mandy_Kerr Wow. This is a strong start. I hope you’ve left yourself some headroom. Expectations are already sky high.
