Heading in to a little down time over the holidays, while enjoying a nod to some of the activities of team @netlify in 2019. https://twitter.com/Netlify/status/1208024770765307906

@seldo Oooft!
If this were me, I'd have to put the phone wellllll out of reach.
Even with multiple alarms, my body rejects 3am as a valid time of day.

This is great. I'm getting more and more enthusiastic about utility-first css with tools like @tailwindcss.
And any talk from @frontstuff_io is well worth a look. https://twitter.com/frontstuff_io/status/1207985865382866944

RT @sarah_edo: If you're an Angular developer and you want to try JAMstack, @Tzmanics did a great tutorial on how to use the new SGG, Scull…

@JoeKarlsson1 I’m telling you.... iPhone, Snapchat filters, gin and tonic.

@JoeKarlsson1 In fairness I think James Cameron had a massive budget for Avatar. Cats was the result of Dame Judy Dench and Idris Elba getting boozed up and larking about with some Snapchat filters.

@brad_frost @brucel I just hope that the version of this printed as a duvet cover arrives with you in time for Christmas.
Ho ho holy sh1t!

@brucel This is the role I was born to play.

There is literally nothing about the ads for the new Cats movie which does not give me the screaming heebiejeebies.

My wish for 2020 is to have @Tzmanics available to explain all the things™ to me.
This walkthrough of using Scully, the new SSG for @angular is bloomin' great!

RT @Netlify: “Static assets” does not mean static apps; it means no server required." See how @jlengstorf highlights the power of the JAM o…

RT @Netlify: Have you checked out, Scully, the Angular Static Site Generator, yet? Well we just created a tutorial to help you do just that…

@Jack_Franklin @DasSurma I'm not convinced that means what you think it means.

@DasSurma @Jack_Franklin I look forward to your official response.

@jaffathecake Ha ha ha. Very good. I’m not sure that this is the approved communication channel to convey that. But exceptions can be made.
And we need to do this.
And we need to do this.

@chuckletmilk @ThePracticalDev Interesting. I’m used to working in an environment where hosting static assets on a CDN and tiggering a build which generates those assets is all rolled up into one system.

@chuckletmilk @ThePracticalDev I like to mitigate that by only hitting the backend data source at build time rather than for every request. And by triggering a new build only when data changes.

@swyx @fishandscripts @Jack_Franklin @vuejs Ha ha! It worked! The summoning worked!
Thanks @swyx, I had a feeling there might be more to discuss and think about here. I'd be interested in @Jack_Franklin's thoughts some time after he's had a chance to consider how this might help his use case.
