The archive of what I posted on Twitter, which I now self host due to a lack of trust in Twitter and some other reasons.

I'll soon begin refelcting all my Mastodon posts here too. I'm happier self-hosting or maintaining an archive of my content on URLs that I can own.

There are tools to help you do this too. Such as this one from the makers of Eleventy.

@seldo Oooft!

If this were me, I'd have to put the phone wellllll out of reach.
Even with multiple alarms, my body rejects 3am as a valid time of day.

This is great. I'm getting more and more enthusiastic about utility-first css with tools like @tailwindcss.

And any talk from @frontstuff_io is well worth a look. https://twitter.com/frontstuff_io/status/1207985865382866944

@JoeKarlsson1 In fairness I think James Cameron had a massive budget for Avatar. Cats was the result of Dame Judy Dench and Idris Elba getting boozed up and larking about with some Snapchat filters.

This walkthrough of using Scully, the new SSG for @angular is bloomin' great!

@chuckletmilk @ThePracticalDev Interesting. I’m used to working in an environment where hosting static assets on a CDN and tiggering a build which generates those assets is all rolled up into one system.

@chuckletmilk @ThePracticalDev I like to mitigate that by only hitting the backend data source at build time rather than for every request. And by triggering a new build only when data changes.
