The archive of what I posted on Twitter, which I now self host due to a lack of trust in Twitter and some other reasons.

I'll soon begin refelcting all my Mastodon posts here too. I'm happier self-hosting or maintaining an archive of my content on URLs that I can own.

There are tools to help you do this too. Such as this one from the makers of Eleventy.

@Jack_Franklin @tudor_griffiths Agreed. I see these things as primary tools for those who use computers for 8 hours a day.

Although I want to learn if it might suit me before jumping in.

@tudor_griffiths My MBP keyboard is unreliable so I’m using an old keyboard I’ve had for many years. I’m curious why so many seem to adore the experience they get from these devices. Keen to learn. Not about to start collecting lots of spares but the keyboard is my main interface with my work.

@petervangrieken @Netlify Indeed. All pets welcome. Or for team members without pets I think we’d accept submissions of their plants. (As long as they had names)

@ppk We don't. But also so far, we haven't identified that need here.

We do have regular "lunch-n-learn" sessions where somebody shares some expertise. Anything from "intro to data science" to "what is JAMstack" to "How we did user research for our docs".

Always valuable.

@ppk This originated from a colleague who was not in the business of writing code. She was clapping with delight at the feeling of writing a few lines of HTML and then seeing it arrive live on the web. (Which was rather fun!)

A quick way to experience your own product is so valuable.

@raz_c @SharafChris That's exactly what I'm curious about. My old PC keyboard from years gone by had a long travel. And I hated it when I needed to touch that again. Felt wasteful.

🐕🐈 All new @Netlify team members (not just devs) are invited to write a few lines of HTML to add their pets to http://petsof.netlify.com and experience our CI/CD flow.

PRs with titles like "Guff" make me smile.
As does "Say hello to our little friends"
