The archive of what I posted on Twitter, which I now self host due to a lack of trust in Twitter and some other reasons.

I'll soon begin refelcting all my Mastodon posts here too. I'm happier self-hosting or maintaining an archive of my content on URLs that I can own.

There are tools to help you do this too. Such as this one from the makers of Eleventy.

The JS world sometimes feels like it is getting more complex & intimidating, but there are still examples of it powering sites in ways that feel approachable.

That's one of the reasons I enjoy @eleven_ty. As @chriscoyier says, "It's Just JavaScript™"

You can see an example in my little @eleven_ty / @tailwindcss starter.

@dkruythoff Bless you for thinking about solutions!

Between you and me, and quality punning aside... I don't think that the url http://petlify.netlify.com scans as nicely or is as descriptive as http://petsof.netlify.com.

Also... it has now been claimed 😏

(But I'll never share this defence)

Today Philip usually thinks Yesterday Philip is an idiot. But Yesterday Philip froze the extra gnocchi he made for dinner, so Today Philip gets to eat gnocchi and pork shoulder ragu for lunch.

Well done, Yesterday Philip!

So excited that the dates for BOTH editions of @jamstackconf 2020 are confirmed!

💂‍♀️ London: May 27-28
🌉 San Francisco: October 6-7

We'll be striving to make these events available to more people. With diversity, scholarships, and more up our sleeves!
