I'll soon begin refelcting all my Mastodon posts here too. I'm happier self-hosting or maintaining an archive of my content on URLs that I can own.

There are tools to help you do this too. Such as this one from the makers of Eleventy.

@brad_frost Ah yes.. I arrived at this thread late! For what it's worth, I think Gulp is simpler, but so many Grunt examples are handy.

@brad_frost Also take a look at Gulp. Depending on your needs, you might find it faster and more intuitive to read/write.

@markboulton Blog structures w/o comments... looks like a prime candidate for a Static Site Generator such as @jekyllrb + easy hosting.
