Note to self: See more of @kevinmhoffman's talks. Enthused and energised by his #smashingconf talk about valuable project processes.

Finding @pbakaus' #smashingconf talk on the illusion of motion fascinating. Happy to see a phenakistoscope like this: http://instagram.com/p/pS3aS8yaf2/
@scottjehl Yes! @pattytoland totally nailed it. So much great stuff.

@smashingconf @pattytoland Even in the face of good arguments, some clients insist mobile users want different things and prefer "m." Halp!

Says @pattytoland at #smashingconf, "Progressive Enhancement liberates us to concentrate on great design opportunities." Yes!

Seeing Boston Globe on a Newton reminds me of http://unobtrusify.com rendered in W3M text browser https://flickr.com/photos/psd/3169949641/ #smashingconf

Wishing more clients could see @pattytoland's #smashingconf talk & recognise the enormity of the task of web design consistency. Gold.
@elisabethirg Oooh! just spotted the "no mics harmed" in your sketchnotes. Ha ha! + @auchenberg

Annoyed that @mathias showed the regex for matching all Unicode characters just before I could call it out. Tip of my tongue! #smashingconf

So basically, Unicode and JavaScript: quite fiddly really. @mathias is one smart cookie. #smashingconf
@timparmee I can relate to that. Getting started with ruby can be tricky. See @stephenhay for inspiration on conquering fear of The Terminal

Yay! The Unicode snowman makes an appearance at #smashingconf thanks to @mathias. http://unicodesnowmanforyou.com/
@Gromski Be quiet in the cheap seats! @elisabethirg
@fehler Thanks a lot! Welcoming the feedback about what really is "simple".
@ducdebreme Thanks a lot! I'm glad you liked it.
@timparmee I think that it has been improving a lot of late. The docs and example sites bundled are getting really helpful.
@ChrisNexusPoint Amazing! I particularly like the terminology that implies! "$ sneeze to production" DO IT. DO IT! #smashingconf
@grigs @smashingconf Any centralised service is a challenge to true indieweb, but this SSG approach promotes portability which seems to fit
@hlubek The author UI is a tricky problem to solve. I love encouraging markdown, but many want more feedback. An SSG alone can struggle.
@hlubek Perhaps not "the" answer. But can help encourage that mindset and support structured data in templates from the start.
