The archive of what I posted on Twitter, which I now self host due to a lack of trust in Twitter and some other reasons.

I'll soon begin refelcting all my Mastodon posts here too. I'm happier self-hosting or maintaining an archive of my content on URLs that I can own.

There are tools to help you do this too. Such as this one from the makers of Eleventy.

@Natbat I agree. That phrase glosses over so much in many situations. I always want to expand on it when hearing it in "biz talk"

@petervangrieken I'm reading marketing bumf for a project & wishing it was assumed by default. @edds says it better: https://twitter.com/edds/status/556411567047442433

@davetgreen Yeah. But that's depending on who "we" is. I think that RWD is still a new aspiration for many clients. Still some way to go.

@revoltpuppy Yeah, I think there is still value in calling out that a site is mobile first or RWD. I just wish it was assumed be default

@cole007 I Guess my point is that sadly, we are still at the point where shouting about the "mobile-first-ness" is a differentiator.

@cole007 I'm thinking of marketing blurb about a project: "ooh a mobile-first site". It's important but prefer "a website" (RWD is implicit)

Open question: Does qualifying a website as a "mobile first website" seem redundant? Like saying "a browser website". Are we there yet?
