My love for the web lives on… but this still really resonates.
Here’s to those who make things for the joy of it. https://twitter.com/joshmanders/status/1587574515885826050

Yes indeed! Congrats to the @remix_run team! And to Shopify.
This is a really exciting development. I'm very keen to see Remix thrive. https://twitter.com/ascorbic/status/1587096625226432513

RT @Netlify: A new cohort of frameworks is emerging that’s embracing collaboration, and we can't wait to hear about it at @jamstackconf!

@zachleat I've yet to find a tool which makes this easier to mix, and more obvious what is happening when/where.
And I get to only start to mix in the serverless and edge stuff for the parts an entirely pre-generated asset can't satisfy

"Have a nice deploy" ❤️ https://twitter.com/jamstackconf/status/1586029911902339074
@mjackson @remix_run Serving static assets have more benefits than ease of deployment, including great performance characteristics, I'd argue.
And yes, adding logic executed at request time somewhere off of the client is good for dynamic/targeted stuff.
It depends. Hence:

@brianleroux @mjackson @remix_run Yeah, agreed.
I also think "serverside", doesn't have to mean "serverful".
If I can do things in advance, I will.
If I can't, but can do things serverless, I will.
If I can't, but can add a server, I will.

@mjackson @remix_run "It's usually better to have a server if you can!" do you mean for Remix, or for all?
Because in general, I have the inverse of this opinion.
— It's usually better to avoid having a server if you can.
I'm a fan of the rule of least power, so only want to add a server if needed.

@cassiecodes The dot-matrix printer is over there. Feel free to print out as much of the code as you like for review.
@cassidoo @jlengstorf I thought that my white face and my black t-shirt were my invite.
But somehow I didn't make the list.
