The archive of what I posted on Twitter, which I now self host due to a lack of trust in Twitter and some other reasons.

I'll soon begin refelcting all my Mastodon posts here too. I'm happier self-hosting or maintaining an archive of my content on URLs that I can own.

There are tools to help you do this too. Such as this one from the makers of Eleventy.

@borismus @mathias True, but this approach avoids another js dependency for your render. Depends on priorities for your site I guess.

@borismus @eduardoboucas @mathias I like it as comments become content, appear in search, good for perf. No js. @Netlify handle forms nicely

@borismus @eduardoboucas @mathias @Netlify Yeah it is custom. I just treat a feed of comments as a source to use in my static build.

@mathias @borismus Sadly Poole has become dusty... but the approach still stands up. I'd suggest using it with https://www.netlify.com/docs/form-handling/
