The archive of what I posted on Twitter, which I now self host due to a lack of trust in Twitter and some other reasons.

I'll soon begin refelcting all my Mastodon posts here too. I'm happier self-hosting or maintaining an archive of my content on URLs that I can own.

There are tools to help you do this too. Such as this one from the makers of Eleventy.

Tonight's @comedyincrown at @CrownStA will be in aid of St Albans & District Foodbank.

12 acts.
1 Christmas jumper.
Lots of fun.

And we'll be collecting food and money for this great local cause.

@noname8765 @resir014 @Netlify I hear that there was indeed a caching issue on a CDN somewhere which was impacting some users of http://app.netlify.com ...and that this should be resolved now. Want to give it another try?

@ChrisFerdinandi @smashingmag Yeah. The publishing workflows are really maturing nicely. I'm hoping for more nice "behind the scenes" case studies to show how @smashingmag's content workflow happens. But keep an eye on (and join the conversation to help steer) @netlifycms

@resir014 @Netlify Are you still getting this? I've been in and out of http://app.netlify.com much of the day and have not experienced this myself so far.

@ChrisFerdinandi It's making very steady progress to v1.0, and is now being used by those clever bods at @smashingmag to power their content publishing.

Born out of the realisation that SSGs are great and all... but need a sensible authoring UI for those who are not developers. I'm a fan.

@jaffathecake @djm_ I do tend to prefer to type the first few characters of a URL and have my history complete it for me. It's like a power search for "apps" I've used in the past. But I have a limited memory, so I wonder why I don't really bookmark.

I'm probably an idiot.

@djm_ Agreed. I'll add to home screen if my usage of the PWA is closer to how I'd use an app. If it's a web site, then I'm happy to have the other benefits of a PWA while keeping the browser-y-ness with URLs etc.

@MarcinLichwala No. All git projects should keep their git data in a local .git folder. But the OS no longer recognises the git command. Some reconfiguration required to reinstate it.
