@TrentWalton @Netlify Excellent. That's how deployments should be. My favorite code fix and deploy was using my phone in my left hand while walking to a bus stop carrying some shopping.

One thing I do when practicing, is note how long has elapsed and add minute markers to the speaker notes at key stages of my talk. Then, as I present I can sense check my progress against my planned timing.

@BenedekGagyi @Jack_Franklin @alexnmoldovan @thekitze @jsheroes I prefer conferences to set the talk duration they feel appropriate for the audience and format of the day, and then ask speakers to prepare content to fit that.
I cut a 45 minute talk to fit 30 mins at #jsheroes. 45 would not have worked there (I ran over by 2.5 minutes 😟)

@Jack_Franklin @BenedekGagyi @alexnmoldovan @thekitze @jsheroes I'd never cut a speaker short of their allotted time due to previous schedule slippage. But I would cut Q&A, and give them a heads up *before* they speak if time had become tight and they need to be sure to finish on time. (which should go without saying anyway)
@Jack_Franklin @BenedekGagyi @alexnmoldovan @thekitze @jsheroes Keeping to time is one of the biggest causes of anxiety for me when giving a talk. Particularly a new talk. This is one of the reasons I always practice my talks standing up, out loud, and timed. You feel dumb doing that alone in your kitchen, but it helps.
