The archive of what I posted on Twitter, which I now self host due to a lack of trust in Twitter and some other reasons.

I'll soon begin refelcting all my Mastodon posts here too. I'm happier self-hosting or maintaining an archive of my content on URLs that I can own.

There are tools to help you do this too. Such as this one from the makers of Eleventy.

@alex_thomas @Netlify I'm afraid I don't use this. I recommend contacting support@netlify.com if you're having issues. That is the best way to track issues and reach the correct person.

@bhenbe @davatron5000 @Netlify @____lighthouse The defaults you get automatically from @Netlify's CDN are really rather good, but if you want full control over http caching headers, you can have that via the custom headers configuration.

@danrocc @username_ZAYDEK @vuejs @Netlify Excuse the drop-in, but I'm curious... this is a front end which calls an API hosted elsewhere on Flask?

If so, a UI built with @vuejs and @nuxt_js which talks to an API anywhere would work nicely on @Netlify.

CDN-level proxy to any API:

Ooh, my @render_conf presentation is featured on the home page of @benotist! Yay!

I'm getting excited at how @benotist is shaping up, and would certainly recommend signing up for the beta. It nicely bridges Lanyrd & Speakerdeck.

A question I got at #WeAreDevs was, "What technology is @Netlify built on?" I hinted that there was a lot of complexity hidden behind the simplicity. This fascinating post talks about just one aspect: our multi-cloud CDN and multi-cloud origin servers.

Thanks to everyone at #WeAreDevs who came to hear me speak about Next Wave Infrastructure.

The slides and link to the #serverless demo I showed are now online. I dare you to try that yourself! 1click to click off that entire process.

@WeAreDevs Find it tricky to build & deploy #serverless functions with confidence? My talk at #WeAreDevs includes a demo of what might be the fastest way to get started. With:
- Git-based deploys
- Immutable versions
- Instant unlimited instant staging envs

...in under 7mins.

@WeAreDevs You built something great & it's time to launch it, but deploying it was hard. You had fixes to release, but it took forever to get them live, and they broke something else. This should be easier!

Find out how (& WTF?*) - #WeAreDevs, Stage D, 15:15
