@zachleat @bepsays @eleven_ty @Netlify @npmjs And FWIW, unless your dependencies change (or rather, unless your package.json changes) @Netlify will run the build with the same stashed dependencies, not reinstall them each time.

@bepsays @Netlify @eleven_ty I don't know about Jekyll, but in the setup @eleven_ty seems to have, a branch which has not been updated for a long time would just build and deploy when you push a change.
@bepsays @Netlify @eleven_ty They will be the builds of the latest commit to the specified branch. Unless they are locked. Deploys in @Netlify can be locked too, so commits stop triggering builds.

FWIW, you can also make good use of @IFTTT to trigger builds from activity elsewhere. Like when you tweet or post to instagram for example.

@Paul_Kinlan I rolled my own and now enjoy notifications and moderation right in my slack client, no longer need js to load the comments, and have the comments as part of my content, crawlable by search engines.

@skix123 @hibangun @parkeragee @marckohlbrugge @linode @excid3 @Netlify You're almost correct @hibangun, but with Netlify you can also make use of #serverless functions. Netlify Functions extend the same deployment and versioning to AWS Lamdba for you. (For Node or Golang).
