Even though I work at @Netlify, I still love these blog posts which look in a bit more detail at *how* some of our features are made.
As ever, making things seem simple generally means swallowing a lot of underlying complexity. https://twitter.com/Netlify/status/1031929434570457089
@jglovier @Netlify Yummy!
@marcysutton Hoorah!
Huge congratulations to you both.

Wow. The speakers that @coldfrontconf are gathering for the conference in November are rather excellent! Delighted that I'll get to hear them, and meet them all.
Will you?

@Jonic Love it! ποΈ
@pferreir @substack @andrestaltz Yeah. I don't think we are disagreeing particularly. Just shifting accidentally from one discussion to a slightly different one.
The original tweet has helped to raise my own awareness. So I can now be more thoughtful with my intended meaning. π

@nola_will @vue_london That's very kind :)
@pferreir @substack @andrestaltz Yep. And of course you didn't. I'm saying that the seed of this conversation was a thought about ways we could help reduce the impact on the subject (or victim in this analogy).
After all, this is a conversation about the impact of unconscious bias, not punishments. Or murder.

@Jonic @Netlify I've not heard any plans for that being discussed, however both @IFTTT and @Netlify can consume and emit webhooks, so you'll probably be able to do what you want already.
For example, I rebuild my site whenever @IFTTT sees that I've tweeted...

@pferreir @substack @andrestaltz There isn't a difference between murder and manslaughter to the victim. For them, the outcome is identical.
I don't think this discussion was intended to make those legally equivalent. And if we can avoid either, we probably should.

RT @DavidDarnes: Finally! Just before midnight, I've written up about my 20 minute hack: Dropping the mic on @Netlify in 20 minutes https:/β¦
@sarah_edo @vue_london Thanks, Sarah!
@vue_london The level of my excitement might only be matched by the level of my anxiety at the thought of trying to live up to that intro!
But let's do this.
I can't wait for this event.

@benschaaf @Netlify Hi Ben. I just checked in with the support team to make sure that your request was working its way up the queue. They don't seem to see anything that corresponds. Is it possible that you used details that we might struggle to reconcile with your twitter details? (My DMs are open)
@benschaaf @Netlify Aha! Ok, jolly good. I'm sure that they'll get back to you as quickly as they can.
@benschaaf @Netlify That sounds like something that the support team could help to resolve. I'd recommend contacting them via https://www.netlify.com/support
