The archive of what I posted on Twitter, which I now self host due to a lack of trust in Twitter and some other reasons.

I'll soon begin refelcting all my Mastodon posts here too. I'm happier self-hosting or maintaining an archive of my content on URLs that I can own.

There are tools to help you do this too. Such as this one from the makers of Eleventy.

@swyx @Netlify @sarah_edo @Tzmanics @shortdiv You are already a beautiful work of art, @swyx. But if you do decide to start wearing a fake moustache to team meetings, you'll get nothing but my unwavering support.

@ChrisFerdinandi @sarah_edo @erquhart @Netlify We run a number of opens source projects, but I believe this role will be mostly focussed on developing @NetlifyCMS and extensions to it.

And you'd be right to be anxious about working as a colleague of mine. I have outrageous daily tea and biscuit demands.

🤩 Not hating this team meeting.

The @Netlify Developer Experience team is now 5 strong, (but it feels like a lot more when I look around at this amazing team and the work they do).

@JoelGMcKinnon Ha ha ha. We've currently got @stephenfry ploughing his way through recording this for us.

Such a text really does demand the authoritative, yet silky timbre, of Mr Fry's golden throat.

@scottmallinson I don't think we'll be automatically resending further emails. You're quite safe to go back and use your email again here:

@brucel @eleven_ty Thanks Brucey!

Since you don't want to rebuild/deploy on every keypress, but more likely at a chosen moment when the editor say "publish please", I like add a button to the sheet which POSTS to an HTTP build trigger. On @Netlify you create and name them, like these on my site:

I got a good question about sourcing data from Google Sheets into a #JAMstack site with @eleven_ty.

So I put a quick demo together:
https://read-from-google-sheets.netlify.com/

- Take a look.
- Poke around in the code.
- Deploy your own with 1 click.

@swyx I like lightning talks too. (That’s why we’ll have 8 over the 2 days!)

But for a conference where people pay for travel, hotel, tickets, I think it’s important to go a bit deeper than 10 mins allow. Our 30 min slots are way more concise than the 50 mins I was once used to.
