@WebInspectInc The blame for that lays equally at the feet of @Jack_Franklin, and also of my wife.
@Rich_Harris @swyx I heartily agree. It is possible. But the momentum of the framework does not lead you there.
And while there are parts of this post that I don't yet totally agree with, there is far more that I'm nodding vigorously along to. Invaluable food for thought from @sonniesedge as ever.

@peduarte Aha. Innnnnnteresting.
@jkjustjoshing @igorakkerman @Netlify This would be a good question to ask over in http://community.netlify.com. There is lots of good discussion, feedback, and answers over there.
@peduarte Wow. That's a big difference. Does this build have a lot of pages?

@Adysandu Wow. Thanks Adrian!
PCpartpicker is amazing. New to me. A few people have recommended similar looking configurations now via that site and it is helping me hone in on wanting to build rather than buy. Good thoughts here. π

@tpiros @biilmann I tend to write it "JAMstack".
And that's what we used for the book.
(and having said that here, I'll probably contradict myself be accident almost immediately)

@thehugodesigns Thanks for all this effort Hugo!
Plenty of food for thought there!

@thehugodesigns Keen to keep it under Β£1000. Debating build/buy. I have peripherals already.
@bgever @davatron5000 @andybelldesign I was ignorant about eGPU until this thread! Certainly something to think about.
@geeky_writer_ Iβm unlikely to ditch my PS4. Even if only for Last Of Us 2 (squeeeeee!) but rts / building games just donβt quite work on consoles. And there are great options I miss out on.
