The archive of what I posted on Twitter, which I now self host due to a lack of trust in Twitter and some other reasons.

I'll soon begin refelcting all my Mastodon posts here too. I'm happier self-hosting or maintaining an archive of my content on URLs that I can own.

There are tools to help you do this too. Such as this one from the makers of Eleventy.

@Jack_Franklin I’m at Schiphol now. We’re going to scoop up that @rem character in a few minutes and then head to the hotel.

@chrisbiscardi @swyx @Netlify Interesting.

Does the image presence or loading state have an impact on layout? Or is the container that the image occupies always a specified width and hight irrespective of the image being there?

@imanthonyholmes @Netlify The Pro plan has the same build infrastructure as the Starter plan, but you do get support for 3 concurrent builds rather than the 1 you get in the Starter plan. This might result in builds being executed sooner.

The Business plan gives dedicated and optimised build infra.

@chrisbiscardi @swyx @Netlify Hmm. I've been using puppeteers to make all my OG image assets like this for quite some time, and I've not seen this. I did once get in a pickle with the responsive layout I used in the view for the captures. But I solved that by being explicit with fixed widths in my CSS

@markboulton @avalonstar @Netlify If it helps, with @netlify you can specify which branches you'd like to automatically build and ignore commits to other branches. You could use that and only merge to your specified production branch when you want to deploy as a way to get what you need.

@kosamari @adactio @slightlylate I’m pretty convinced that the only reason @slightlylate has glasses is so that he can take them off and pinch the bridge of his nose to express his displeasure. Or to gesticulate with them to emphasise a point.
