The archive of what I posted on Twitter, which I now self host due to a lack of trust in Twitter and some other reasons.

I'll soon begin refelcting all my Mastodon posts here too. I'm happier self-hosting or maintaining an archive of my content on URLs that I can own.

There are tools to help you do this too. Such as this one from the makers of Eleventy.

@hankchizljaw @css @eleven_ty @Netlify Phew! I mean, "oh dear".
The maths just married up and made me nervous.

I care about your client project challenges, of course. But lolly access time is always a big deal to me!

@hankchizljaw @css @eleven_ty @Netlify Just checking... you didn't mean this site, right? (For that 35s.)

This site should return any lolly page instantly because it was pre-generated. Or instantly because it wasn't ready yet, but got served directly from the db thanks to a severless render.

Since posting this little example of user generated content in a #JAMstack site with #serverless fallbacks on @css, over 800 people have "made lollypop pages" ๐Ÿญ

Some build stats:
- 800+ pages built by @eleven_ty: ~5.2s
- Full @Netlify deploy: ~30s

@jasonrundell @JAMstackTORONTO I agree!

So far, we've prioritised other features which can't be created via readily available integrations (like the official @zapier integration ๐Ÿ‘‰https://www.netlify.com/blog/2018/12/14/one-month-after-launch-netlify-is-zapiers-3rd-most-popular-new-integration/?utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=questions-pnh&utm_campaign=devex )

But yes. I'm keen on that too.
